If rumors are to be believed, much talked about and awaited Apple iPad 3 release date seems to have come really close as Apple gets second manufacturer to ramp up iPad 3 production
Apple is reportedly looking for a second Taiwan manufacturer to speed up production of its rumored iPad 3 or iPad 2 Plus, a DigiTimes reports says.
Apple is currently working with Foxconn to produce its next generation iPad tablet.
But to ramp up production, the company will be hiring one of Quanta Computer or Pegatron Technology, says the Taiwanese tech blog in a Monday post.
Apple is anticipated to initiate its third generation iPad tablet PC this fall.
Though Apple unveiled iPad 2 early this year, the rumor is gaining strength that the company will be bringing out its next iPad version this year itself so as to remain competitive among the flood of a host of Google's Android tablets.
The new iPad is speculated to get a display of double the resolution of its current model, that is a resolution 2048x1536 pixels.
As well,the iPad 3 will be far thinner and slighter than the current model, which was launched in March 2011.
Apple iPad has been remaining unconquerable in the technology market thanks to its huge popularity.
As per a recent comScore survey, Apple iPad has swallowed around 90% of the global tablet market.
Samsung Galaxy Tab is the major opponent Apple iPad is facing these days in the market.
Samsung has just unveiled the most recent version of its Android tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to compete with Apple iPad 2.
Indeed, the new Samsung tablet has been creating waves in the market raising tough challenges to the iPad brand.
