The eLocity
A7 was initially expected to hit last 24 August.
Now Engadget reports that this 7inch slate will be coming out in September via Amazon.com.
The eLocity A7 has an "extremely responsive" display with a resolution of 800x480. Multitouch is enabled and the launch OS will be Google's Android 2.1, with 2.2 (code name Froyo) coming in October.
The eLocity A7 has a 1.3MP front-facing Webcam and 3G plus USB and HDMI ports.
The processor is a mighty Tegra 2, 1 GHz.
The
accelerometer is "flaky", but this thing appears to be able to port 1080p video
to an HDTV quite well.
The price is the most exciting part of this new tablet:
A
mere US$399 (315 euros) is all you'll need to walk home with one!
